Henry White

Henry has more than 40 years’ experience in defence technology research and development, specialising in photonics and sensing. He is responsible for applying the latest knowledge and technologies to improve the capabilities of BAE Systems’ products, with a particular focus on the air domain.
Henry contributes to an array of quantum-focused initiatives, including as a member of the strategic advisory board for the National Quantum Strategy Programme, a founding member of the UKQuantum group of companies and a member of the Institute of Physics Quantum Business Innovation and Growth group.
Henry is heavily involved in developing the next generation of scientists as a member of the advisory panel for the Applied Photonics Centre for Doctoral Training, and is currently an industrial supervisor for five PhD students.
