Christopher Haines joined the global crude team as an oil analyst in May 2018. Prior to this he accumulated over eight years of experience in analysing oil and gas markets, predominantly in Europe, Middle East and Africa region, and led the oil and gas research team at BMI Research. Christopher’s focus is on analysing supply and demand fundamentals. Christopher is a graduate of the University of Portsmouth, where he completed his dissertation on EU-Russia energy relations.
