About
John's area of expertise lies in elite sports coaching and performance. During his career, he has worked as a coach andor sports science provider at Paralympic and Olympic games; at both junior and senior world track and field championships, and at rugby (2015) and football (2018) world cups. He was the Head of Strength and Conditioning for GB athletics throughout the very successful Beijing 2008 cycle and has worked extensively with a wide variety of Olympic medallists, world champions, and exceptional field sports players. He is happy to talk about sports science, issues relating to stress and performance, strength and conditioning, sports injury, coaching and more broadly around exercise and health. ohn has experience of speaking to major broadcast media outlets on these topics.
