Richard Fitzwilliams is a royal commentator and film critic. He has given over 1,200 interviews on television and a great many on radio, commenting for CNN (often live on royal events for 20 years), BBC News Channel, ITV, CTV, Al Jazeera, Sky News Australia, GB News, BBC Radio 4, BBC 2, BBC Radio 5 Live, LBC and many other outlets at home and abroad on royal matters.

He has done numerous pieces for Mail Online, Express Online on the latest royal news, also numerous lectures and has debated at the Oxford Union. He is the weekly film critic for Talk Radio Europe and Siren FM and has lectured on the way royalty is portrayed on screen. He promoted The Annual Exhibition of The Royal Society of Portrait Painters 2002-2022. He was Editor of The International Who's Who, the standard biographical source of famous people worldwide, which had a special royal section, from 1975 to 2001.
