About
Dr Anna Szolucha is a Research Fellow within Northumbria University’s Department of Social Sciences. She explores the ‘social construction’ of unconventional gas extraction and specifically the social impact of shale gas fracking at the Preston New Road fracking site near Blackpool, in Lancashire, England. Dr Szolucha’s current research is funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
