Michael Delano

Michael (Mike) Delano is the Asset & Wealth Management Leader at PwC Luxembourg, having previously worked as an audit partner primarily focused on traditional and alternative investment vehicles.

Mike began his career in PwC in Baltimore, Maryland in 1997, and transferred to New York in 2004. He relocated to Luxembourg in 2007, where he has been ever since, providing audits and audit-related services to numerous UCITS, Part II UCIs, SIFs, RAIFs, PSFs, banks, broker-dealers, investments advisors and securitisation vehicles within and outside the Grand Duchy.

In addition to his responsibilities with PwC, he has been a member and chair (until 2023) of the Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs (ILA)'s Fund Committee for over ten years, overseeing the publication of the landmark Fund Governance Survey report - now in its 11th edition - and promoting good governance and administrative excellence in Luxembourg's funds industry.

All in all, Mike has more than 25 years of audit experience in investment funds, including ten years in PwC's US practice, and has worked with a wide array of asset managers, alternative funds and traditional investment funds.
