Joe Hazzam

Joe Hazzam is the course leader for BSc (Hons) Digital and Social Media Marketing at Staffordshire University in the UK.

Joe’s academic career is enriched by seventeen years of hands-on marketing experience, with a focus on strategic and digital marketing. His scholarly interests lie within the broad realm of social media and digital marketing, with a particular fascination for the development of digital and social media marketing capabilities that can enhance small to medium-sized enterprises performance. His research portfolio includes more than twenty research papers published in top-tier marketing and business journals.

Since joining Staffordshire University in February 2022, Joe has delivered over twenty presentations at local, national, and international conferences, webinars, and public lectures. He has also conducted social media strategy masterclasses to over 250 SMEs in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.
